How do you pay for the bus in Denver?
Bus riders have the option of paying cash when they board their bus. Exact change is required, credit/debit not accepted. Cash fares include a 3-Hour Pass, good for unlimited trips at the same service level on other buses or trains. The 3-Hour Pass is also available on the RTD Mobile Tickets app.

What are RTD holidays?
Buses and rail operate 365 days a year. However, buses follow the Sunday/ holiday schedule on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Rail follows its weekend schedule on these same holidays.

PAY YOUR FARE A valid ticket is required before you board the rail. To purchase a ticket, use the ticket vending machines (TVMs) located at each station. Cash (coins and bills) and debit/credit cards are accepted at TVMs.
