Drive Leaders

Oregon needs a new generation of leaders and you’re one of them. Because we try to develop leaders in whatever we do, we put the power in your hands. You make democracy happen. You learn how to do it better. And you figure out how to run things, because pretty soon you’re going to have to.

Every summer we recruit some of the brightest, sharpest young people to participate in our 10-week annual fellowship, PolitiCorps. If you’re in college or a recent graduate (aged 19-25) dedicated to public interest and political process, you are eligible for the Fellowship. PolitiCorps is for the person who feels their opinion should matter, wants their voice heard, and and do whatever it takes to make a difference in the wild world of politics. If this sounds like you or someone you know, check out more information on PolitiCorps!

Democracy Club

Democracy Club is a program specifically for our most engaged high school volunteers. The purpose is to give you the skills you need to run successful advocacy campaigns through work on Bus Project priorities. We want to help you become a leader tomorrow, by showing you what is possible when we all work together, today. Democracy Club members will get to work collaboratively on projects with students from other schools, such as: planning a candidate forum, voter registration projects, writing Letters to The Editor, testifying on bills, and more! The hope is that you will take the skills you learn from us, and directly apply them to other issues you care about. Email our Program Director to find out more!
