Drive Leaders

Oregon needs a new generation of leaders and you’re one of them. Because we try to develop leaders in whatever we do, we put the power in your hands. You make democracy happen. You learn how to do it better. And you figure out how to run things, because pretty soon you’re going to have to.

Every summer we hire some of the brightest, sharpest young people to work with us. Our fellowships are for people who feel their opinion should matter, wants their voice heard, and want to learn more about how to make a difference in the political world. You'll learn the basics of organizing and get connected to some of the best people doing this work in Oregon.

Oregon Youth For Gun Reform

Oregon Youth For Gun Reform is a collective group of high school students and young people across the state of Oregon who are engaging in meaningful conversations about what common sense gun reform looks like in Oregon. They organized a statewide school walkout on April 20th, and are excited to make real change in their communities. They have been working with The Bus Project to rethink what is possible in our current political climate. Email our Program Coordinator to find out more!

Bus Action Team

The Bus Action Team (BAT), the Bus Project’s team of committed volunteers, began in April 2018. They are the backbone of our grassroots organizing and all things Bus. These dedicated community leaders knock doors, call voters, engage in visibility events, organize fundraisers, and develop their own projects.
